Desperate Housewives - the mobile game
I don’t like soap operas mainly because the lack of time. Still, movie-based games always appealed to me, especially when they come from my favorite developer - Gameloft.
Still, I am really curious about how many of the fans of the series get to play this game. After all, they kind of target different demographics, don’t they?
Couple of weeks ago, when my boss told me I’d have to test “Desperate Housewives”, I said “bah. Yet another movie license”. But after a brief while I found myself playing it to unlock different episodes and to find out what is going to happen next. The game is turn-based and you play only against the computer opponent. But there are a lot of bonuses like wild cards, mini games, random trivia questions during the game who test your knowledge of the action in the movie. About the questions, it is obvious the game addresses to the fans, but a lot of them can simply guessed. It helps to know what is all about, but you can cope if you don’t.
Also you can use trial and error. Is not fair, but…:P, the saving system on some platforms allows it. I did it out of curiosity, sometime the dice were not in my favor, so I had no choice 
I mentioned most of the things you can find playing the game, but the thing which makes it good is the story - it makes you want to come back for more, and maybe even turns you into a fan, who knows?. My score? 8 out of ten. You won’t be sorry if you like a mobile story and some sort of monopoly-like game.
