Absolute Puzzle - Light Up
I have plenty of games on my Sony Ericsson phone, but the one that got me hooked most in the last month really deserves a place in our Best Games top.
I’m talking about Absolute Puzzle, a game you might have heard of, actually a collection of 3 games: two clones of similar PC games, and a third, quite original brilliant, mind-crunching puzzle.
Produced by Global Fun, the three games are described by the producer in very few words:
Acclaimed by critics and public alike, Absolute Puzzle expands the series with Absolute Puzzle Deluxe.
- Clear Out, search among dozens of pieces and match two of them with identical color to clear the stage as fast as possible.
- Blockers, make the way out for the special piece moving the the others. Unlock extra exists.
- Light Up, use mirrors, divisors, prisms and up to 7 kind of items to lead the light beams from generators to receptors
I’m not a big fan of Clear Out, but I was pretty hooked on Blockers (which I managed to finish) and I’m still hooked by Light Up, which is one of the most addictive puzzles I played lately. You have to solve puzzles, and direct colored beams of light from their sources to some kind of light bulbs, by using the kind of inventions that make Tom and Jerry cartoons so exciting: mirrors, light splitters, light curvers, etc.
All the puzzles are solvable (or at least I hope so, being stuck for now at the 21st level) through an ingenious and unique solution.
All in all, this is old school, real puzzle-solver fun. By looking at Absolute Puzzle and Sudoku, I can’t help wonder: are puzzle games more exciting when played on mobile phones? I suppose so…

When I saw your comment I actually wanted to send you a screen capture of the level 13 solution. In order to do this, I had to play the first 13 levels in a row. Unfortunately, when I completed level 13, by the time I got my camera prepared to take the photo, this son of a b*$!% started level 14.
Now I have to do it all again. Are you sure it’s the level 13 solution you want? It’s not very difficult, you know….
Michelle, here I go again with the solution of Absolute Puzzle Light Up - Level 13. There’s just one last thing to do in order to finish, I’m sure you’ll figure it out in a blinkeye…

It was probably the most interesting and exciting level of the game. And the fact that Absolute Puzzle Lights Up only has 21 levels make any of those mind-gobbling puzzles a big IQ treat.
For instance, I’m actually sorry i cheated at level 21 and peeked at the solution above.

Hy Toby, sorry for the LONG delay. I finally managed to replay and photograph the solution for Absolute Puzzle Level 18. Seems like this comment thread has become a real walk trough in the game.
Hope you’ll enjoy playing the rest of the game(the 3 remaining levels) and you’ll come back on our site for ideas on other cool mobile games to play.
My phone, only goes to lvl 21? Is that normal?

Leas, although the screenshot above belongs to the Deluxe version, I didn’t have the chance to play it as well, so I can’t help you with it.
Martin, the original version only had 21 levels, while the deluxe one has 30 of them.

Hey! How Ecstatically Happy was I when I finally completed the game on my mobile! I was hoping for some kind of magical fanfare with a chance to enter my name in some precious hall of fame……but NO! Al I got was a “You Win!!” caption!!!?? :oD

ok i beginning to think that im an idiot coz no1 has asked for this solution b4 but im totally stuck and have been for about 3 weeks!! its level 17 i think when theres 9 lights to light up and at the beginning 2 are already lit!! help its driving me insane!!
This game gave me a lot of headaches 
but i completed it in 2 days…. it;s a shame that is has only 38 stages….
i wish they would release Light Up 2 or something like that….

Man, lvl 20 was a bitchhhhhhhhh… finally i moved on to 21, now ill be stressed out again coz it loks hard… im not gonna look at the cheat snapshot, ill try doin it myself….. all levels took me not more than 40 min to finish, exept for 20… i just feel that i accompished somethin,
having a crazy time with this game stuck on level 6. is there any one can help me please. no one else seems to have had a problem with this one so there is no help on net.
